Welcome to the National Association of Negro Business and Professional Women’s Clubs, Inc. - The Laurelton Club!
We are a group of extraordinary women leaders in business, professional and civic communities, all committed to fulfilling the mission of the National Association of Negro Business and Professional Women’s Clubs, Inc. The Laurelton Club provides educational information and resources in these areas: Leadership, Entrepreneur, Technology and Service (LETS). to residents in the borough of Queens. The Laurelton Club has deep roots in southeast Queens with 45 years of service to the community. The Laurelton Club was chartered in 1976 having most of its members from Queens County. Our annual, Founders’ Day Luncheon honors individuals in their profession, business and community service arenas, with our highest honor of “Sojourner Truth Award” given to a woman who exemplifies the principles and virtues of this iconic heroine. We award scholarships to graduating high school seniors from the borough of Queens County to assist them to further their college education. COVID-19 has caused our club to think differently; using Zoom and other virtual platforms to deliver services to a larger audience. We are excited to serve as leaders in our professions and communities. We welcome you to join us as we move forward with a purpose. Thank you for expressing interest in The Laurelton Club. May God bless you. Phyllis E. Harris-Williams President |
We identify local needs and implement projects to address the issues in our community. |
